In the old section, which in the 12th Century was a Monastery, you can still taste the atmosphere of its prestigious past, with a marvellous cloister, and the rooms are still furnished with original furniture. In the garden there is the swimming pool and a very nice view over the landscape, that can be admired. With the plants and flowers of the area, some imported, are what make this park a botanical garden. The time at Villa Pitiana runs slowly as it is away from the stress of the cities and everything is made to be more relaxed so that our guests can also relax. A favourite destination for nature lovers, and for those in search of slightly nostalgic itinaries. The area around the Villa offers art and culture, and of course we do not want to forget that Florence is only 40 minutes away.
