From Dublin Airport, follow signs for city center, through Drumconda, into Dorset Street and down into O'Connell Street. Traveling south, across O'Connell Bridge into D'Olier Stret. Turn up Dame Street at the entrance to Trinity College (with the college behind you), take 2nd turn on the left into South Great Georges Street, and continue straight up thru Aungier Street, Wexford Street, and Camden Street. Turn left at the traffic lights at the Bleeding Horse Pub. Keep to the right hand lane of traffic and turn right at the next lights and take 2nd turn to left, which is just before the Spar Shop. County Wicklow is an area rich in history and culture with no less than five of Ireland's finest Heritage Gardens. A 15 km pleasant drive, if you have a free day, it's certainly a nice way to spend it.
