The public areas of the hotel and much of the beamed Verderer's Court reflect the former use of the Best Western The Speech House as a courthouse to the Foresters. Several of our bedrooms have four-poster beds and all have been carefully refurbished so that they retain their original charm. No matter what time of year you choose to visit, the forest is a wonderfully tranquil beautiful place with hundreds of species of flora and fauna, deer, rare birds as well as numerous sign posted walking trials of varying distance and difficulty.
