PAY Movies are available now.The Lodge offers a fully licensed Restaurant & Bar ( one of only 2 Welcome Lodges that are licensed) The Lodge also offers an all you can eat Hot Full English Buffet Breakfast served till 10.00am each morning.All 85 rooms are ensuite with power shower & deep Bath, all rooms feature SKY TV with Sports 1&2, trouser press, hairdryer & Hot Drinks Caddy.The 24 hour reception gives you a warm welcome with plenty of information available about the local areas and attractions.The evening Restaurant serves homecooked meals and bar snacks along with steaks & Scampi & toasted sandwiches. We offer a wide range of fresh Ground coffee & the bar is open each evening from 6.Free parking for all residents along with comfortable lounge area & outdoor piattzza for you to enjoy a coffee or a beer.The Lodge is adjacent to Camelot theme park and you can purhase discount tickets from reception. Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 min drive away, South port, Bottany Bay, Wigan Pier & Lancaster are also a short journey away.Manchester is 30 miles and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about 25 mins by car.Local towns include Chorley, Wigan, Leyland & Preston City.The Lodge is AA approved and also Pet Friendly, plenty of parking for both caravan & CoachTHE LODGE IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH BOUND SIDE OF THE MOTORWAY. There is a barrier system (Council Directive) in place which allows us to give guests a token which whilst resident OR when departing gives our guest access to the south bound.If you are traveling from the North you should drive 1 mile past the Motorway Service area and come off at Junction 27, go around roundabout and re join northbound, traveling for approx 1 mile, you then come off at the service area and the Lodge is on your left with its own CCTV Car park.Guests wishing to continue their journey south can pick up a barrier token on departure enabling them to continue southbound.
