This is reflected in the cooking of only fresh local produce and everything including the bread is made on the premises. Harry's Wife, Li sees to the front of House and it is advisable to book at this busy restaurant. Specials are locally caught fish and the famous dessert selection.The Hotel is right in the heart of Aberystwyth just three minutes walk from the sea front with the shops and museum all within a couple of hundred metres. Ideally positioned for visiting The University College of Wales and The National Library of Wales and IGER.The Restaurant, recommended by the 'Eat Well Wales' guide is split into three. A regular dining room, a strictly no-smoking room and a function room.The function room can cater for up to 50 covers and it is advisable to book the restaurant especially at weekends.Harry Hughes, Chef-Proprietor has won a number of awards including Royal Navy Chef of the Year.The Quality Food is enhanced further by the front of house staff who provide a friendly, warm and comfortable atmosphere.The room renovations have been completed and bookings are being taken now. All rooms are en-suite, have colour television and are situated within 2 or 3 minutes walk from the sea.Whilst in the Royal Marines, Harry became Navy Chef of the Year and then went on to complete his training with 5 years with the famous Roux Brothers. Since then, he has won several awards in the establishments in which he has overseen the kitchen operation A credit card is required as a guarantee.
