The Charles Orvis Inn the fitness spa-an 18 hole championship quality golf course and clubhouse-Equinox pond and part of Mount Equinox. Located in Manchester Village Vermont the resort can trace its roots to 1769 when the regions first lodging was erected on the site. The historic resort has 183 rooms and suites in the Equinox adjacent townhouses and the Charles Orvis Inn. Located on the village green in the center of the historic village and one mile south of the shopping district. Floors:4 Rooms:183 Room Types: The resort has four room categories: they differ in size, location, and views. All of the rooms have been recently refurbished and all of the hotel rooms are decorated in a new England style, with rich duvets and throws. The furniture is a light country pine. They all have air-conditioning, computer modems, voice mail, hairdryers and spa quality bath amenities. Nightly turndown is available upon request.  • Handicap facilities The resort has 2 ADA approved fully accessible rooms with roll-in shower, lowered toilets both with assistance bars. TDD phones, hearing impaired alarm clock, doorbell, and light are available upon request for the hearing impaired. Pool stair access, all public areas and restaurants are wheelchair accessible and a handicap elevator allows access to conference room level. Room descriptions  • C1K Classic rooms Our classic room would accommodate two adults with plenty of room to relax. The rooms are located throughout the hotel on the first to fourth floors. The room comes with a king, queen, or two queen beds. Rollaways are not available for this room type. Size ranges from 244-304 sq ft.  • B1K / B2Q Superior room Mid size room comes with a king, queen, or two queen size beds. These rooms are located throughout the four floors and have limited views of the property. These rooms can accommodate one rollaway and or a crib. Size ranges from 318-409 sq ft.  • A1K / A2Q Deluxe room Large rooms located on the first to the fourth floors with either a king, queen or two queen beds. You will enjoy the view of our seasonal gardens or historic village. These rooms can accommodate one rollaway or crib. Size ranges from 268-484 sq ft.  • S2Q Premium rooms The most spacious rooms offered within the main hotel. All have one king bed. Located on the second to fourth floor. You will enjoy the breath taking views of Equinox Mountain, spectacular seasonal gardens or the historical village of Manchester. These rooms can accommodate up to two rollaways or cribs, or a combination of the two. Size ranges from 320-490 sq ft.  • S1Q 1 bedroom townhouse suite 1 bedroom townhouse suite has a queen size bed. The separate living room has a cozy electric fireplace and queen size sofa sleeper. All of the 1 bedroom townhouses are located on the second floor. There are no elevators in this building.
