The Lodge is one block from downtown Amherst, and is within walking distance to both Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts. The Lodge has 20 guest rooms. All include two double beds, both smoking and non-smoking, in-room coffee makers, cable television, and have only exterior access. Small pets are allowed in smoking permissible rooms at a 20.00USD per night fee. The office is open from 8AM to 9PM daily with a 24 hour answering service. Those arriving after 9pm should check in at Howard Johnson, 401 Russell Street, Route 9, in Hadley, MA. Check ins at Howard Johnson are not provided shuttle service to the Lodge. However, the Lodge rate would be honored, based upon availability, at Howard Johnson for those arriving after 9pm. Located adjacent to downtown Amherst as well as the campus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
